• Self-esteem stable positive regard of themselves, which is based on the belief that we have of ourselves.
• It reflects the structure of the self, formed and stabilized during the years of childhood and adolescence. •

results obtained within emotional, social and working environment.
• In the path of the helping relationship, every road leads to self-esteem, to develop a positive approach to life.
• If the basis of their personal difficulties, there is a low self-esteem, quality of life can be changed by working directly on the increase in the same level (Field, 1997).
• The counselor, therefore, must work with the client first and foremost to strengthen self-esteem.
